Yearling Male Arnhem Black-headed Python

Description: This male Black-headed Python hatched at the start of 2009 and so is about 13 months old. His line originates from near the Arnhem Highway where the BHPs are quite different from the NT forms further inland that look more like the Queensland BHPs. Although its hard to show in a picture, these animals are more of a chocolate brown with a creamy background and a white belly with few markings. He is just over one metre in length and an excellent feeder taking both thawed and fresh weaner rats. We sell hatchling males of this type for $770 and you would normally expect to pay quite a bit more for a yearling male like this one.
