A Yearling Female Albino Darwin Carpet Python

Description: This attractive female albino carpet python hatched mid-November 2008 and is just over 15 months old now. She is the progeny of "Margaret". Albinos start off as pink hatchlings and then gradually their distinctive yellow and gold colouration increases until they are about 2.5 years old. As an advanced yearling, you can see the yellow banding starting to show through now. She has been an excellent feeder since first shed and is feeding on fresh or frozen rats. She is approximately 1.2 metres in length and should be ready to breed in 18 months. Normally we would sell a yearling female albino for at least $3,500.
